Kuala Lumpur International Airport operator rolls out upgraded Airport FastTrack (AFT) service

The operator of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) recently rolled out its upgraded version of its Airport FastTrack (AFT) service.



The operator of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) recently rolled out its upgraded version of its Airport FastTrack (AFT) service.


Part of the strategy to strengthen KLIA as an aviation hub, airport operator Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) announced the upgraded service which offers perks for passengers including curbside reception, expedited immigration clearance, and baggage assistance while at KLIA.  


AFT is operated by Kuala Lumpur Airport Hotel Sdn Bhd and MAHB's hospitality arm Sama-Sama Hotel KLIA.


“Our upgraded AFT service now offers a holistic meet-and-greet experience, ensuring passengers receive personalised assistance from the moment they arrive,” said Datuk Mohd Izani Ghani, Managing Director, MAHB. “From curbside reception to expedited immigration clearance and baggage assistance, every touchpoint has been meticulously designed to deliver comfort and efficiency,”


With the AFT service, travelers departing and arriving at either of KLIA's two terminals – KLIA1 and KLIA 2 – will be able to have a representative meet an arriving passenger at the gate or at the curbside for departures. While inside the terminal, transport is provided through a complimentary 24-hour buggy transport, access to dedicated immigration/security/customs lanes, baggage assistance, and access to the Sky Suite Airport Lounge at KLIA1. Transfers are also provided between the KLIA1 main terminal building and the satellite terminal.


According to MAHB, the service now includes a dedicated guest center and AFT@Connect at Departure Level 5. Bookings can be done on a dedicated website (www.myairportfasttrack.com).


“This platform reflects our drive to leverage technology in enhancing service delivery and passenger convenience, with an integrated payment gateway ensuring a smooth and secure experience for all users,” Mohd Izani added.
